Optimal settings for Call of Duty 4

In my personal experience I suggest you to set (forcing) 4xAA 16xAF inside NVIDIA control panel.
Then be sure you optimized COD4 for dual GPUs (in the game menus).

That work fine for me, hope help xps1730 community.


A strong suggestion that is very useful for all games and for SLI conf is to install NHancer, have a look here : www.nhancer.com

Some others people found very useful add few more tweaks and icrease perfomance installing the Omega Drivers, to see wath they are look HERE

wonderful..... TnX a lot Pirulotto, I downloaded nHncer, and I applied your suggested settings and COD4 now simply FLY, I'm very happy

resolution is : 1680 x 1050
2 GPU selected (in the game nemu)

great work posting nHancer print screens is very useful.

Hi,

Have found the best setting without downloading nHancer is this

AA: 2x
AF: 8x
GPU Accelertaion: Single display
SLI performance: Single-GPU

This got me zipping at a 32fps average. However before playing, turn off Windows sidebar.

I know this isn't much but download FRAPS. This means the LCD can show you the FPS in game! No hinderance on performance as it runs off the LCD

Only a question: I never understood what Sinle-GPU mean in SLI settings. That mean only one of two GPU work?
